Organisational Review
How we can help you
When looking to address maturity, excellence or performance issues, this is a great place to start. i.e. got a problem, want to improve or make changes – we can help. This kind of assessment is not onerous or take much time, but through this discovery work is able to uncover opportunities to enhance your performance, strengthen your business and realise your true value.
An Excellence review starts with a conversation with you. Where are you headed? What changes are you facing? Where do you have challenges or concerns? One conversation leads to many conversations and interviewing people at all levels of your organisation.
From this, we analyse what we have learnt in relation to your culture, your business practices and methods, your financials and your operating rhythms and model. It’s as important to listen to what people say as what is left unsaid. Applying a systems’ thinking approach, and looking at your business as a whole, we synthesise our findings and present recommendations.
The goal of this review is to uncover what it will take to unlock the value in your business through enhanced alignment, structure, and efficiency improvements that enable greater flow and outcomes, all identified in a high-level improvement roadmap.
What we do
Your business knowledge, combined with our experience and fresh perspective, helps us identify what’s working, what needs improvement, and the root causes blocking value. Whether you’re a small business or part of a large enterprise, regular organisational reviews are essential—like a health check for your business.
In every review, we:
- Understand your current state and future goals
- Identify blockers
- Plan and support change
We engage with stakeholders to explore your environment, clarify objectives, and apply appreciative inquiry to highlight strengths and opportunities. Using divergent thinking and a diagnostic framework, we assess:
- Strategy and vision
- Pain points and root causes
- Structure, processes, leadership, and culture
- Core capabilities
With fresh eyes, we clarify roles, decision-making, and accountability to improve flow. We conclude with a clear assessment, change options, and a roadmap for delivery—ensuring transparency, engagement, and alignment.
What is an Organisational Excellence Review
We can orchestrate a whole of organisation, business unit or functional reviews. We can facilitate conversations, interviews and workshops. We can run health diagnostic surveys and benchmarks to enable us to track nuanced changes in performance, culture and behaviour. We will synthesise our findings into an actionable plan and roadmap and we can guide you on the implementation and delivery of the change.
Where appropriate, Accuteque assists in the development and capability uplift of key people and may introduce Human Centred Design Principles, Business Agility and Visual Facilitation to support people and leaders through the change process.
Organisational transformation
How we can help you
Transforming organisations is where we excel. We have demerged and reimagined finance businesses, transformed corporate IT divisions through innovation to uncover new ways of working, and helped many businesses reimagine new operating models.
We also practice transformation on ourselves.
We will take on as much or as little of the heavy lifting as you need. Our preference is to collaborate and co-create the to-be organisation with your people using human-centred design approaches and facilitation of workshops. We can support your leaders in finding their place in the new organisation. And we can define metrics and balanced scorecards to track progress and demonstrate success.
Our goal for organisation transformation is to make a positive difference and to leave you in a better place than where we found you.
What we do
One of the first things that Accuteque will do is recommend an Organisational Excellence Review to understand your challenges and gain insight into how you work today.
We will help you re-imagine how you want to do business tomorrow.
And we will collaborate with you to develop a roadmap and plan to get you there. We will listen to your people and seek to understand the fears and desires of your people. All of them.
We will identify the guardrails for change, communication and change plans and we will identify the change champions within your organisation that will lead the change from within.
We will work with your finance, HR, marketing & comms and governance teams to ensure alignment for all concerned
What is an Organisation Transformation
Organisational transformation occurs when you need to close a gap. A big gap. Typically, the genesis of change often relates to a change in corporate leadership. This may not be just a physical change, such as the commencement of a new C-suite individual, but it may also be a mental or a mindset shift of incumbents.
Organisational transformation may be required because of new technology, new markets, complacency, innovation, or anything that disrupts the status quo. Covid-19 was a major disruptor that caused many companies to adopt transformative change, and we are now seeing many now adjusting to the impact of AI on their businesses. These have all been contributing to many organisations wanting to adopt a new normal or change their ways of working.
Regardless of how you make the decision, transformative change involves people. And for any change you will have your early adopters, people who are ready and pushing the change. You will have your detractors; the individuals who like things the way they are and see no reason for change, thank you very much. And you have the rest – the people who fill the bell curve of your organisation.
What all these people have in common is the desire to be heard, and to understand how what they do today will be done tomorrow. Creating a sense of purpose, and a vision for the transformed organisation is key to success.
Through working with your leadership, we will assist you to design an organisation transformation plan, where you have clarity of regarding organisational transformation options and what lies behind each structural change and it’s timing. Combine this with our Organisational Change Management service to ensure the transformation manages the people changes well.
Organisational change management
How we can help you
Accuteque works with you to build a change strategy that fits your organisation and your change. We begin by identifying who will be affected and what support they will need. From there, we develop communication plans, feedback channels, and leadership coaching to help teams stay informed and engaged.
We focus on building trust and ownership across the organisation. By preparing leaders to guide their teams and creating space for feedback, we help reduce resistance and increase confidence. Our approach is practical and people-focused, designed to suit your specific context and goals.
This service ensures change is introduced in a way that is clear, supported and sustainable. With the right tools and guidance, your people can experience change with confidence and see the positive impact arising from it from a team level through to an improved customer experience.
What we do
We use proven research and analysis tools to understand your problem area. Our team apply Human Centered Design (HCD) Double Diamond divergent and convergent approaches to do a deep dive into where you are now so that we don’t make false assumptions. We also use the OODA method to help make informed decisions and act upon them, allowing an iterative assessment approach.
Using the LUMA framework, we identify the most appropriate tools to enable us to gather the information needed to better understand the problem and identify options.
While each assessment is unique to your business, we apply the toolkit in different ways to help us uncover the information needed.
We focus on your people as we believe that engagement and effective communications with those who will be impacted by the change need to be involved throughout the early stages of the project in order gain acceptance and adoption at a later stage.
Our approach is to work with you and your key resources to create a common understanding of ‘WHY’, and we consider a whole of organisation focus rather than just individual programs and teams. We will collaborate with your leadership team to ensure that the message is consistent and on point with the overall strategy and ways of working.
Using this process, we have success in gathering information from staff, by creating a safe and respectful environment to have open communications about what’s working well and what’s not. Further, we can facilitate in empowering and inspiring team members to trust in the change and help them enact the change they want to see.
What is Organisational Change Management

What is Ways of Working
Ways of Working (WoW) used to mean how we work together and was often defined by the policies and procedures that set expectations for people by employers. Another way of describing a company’s operating model, if you will. Today, Ways of Working may be
- New Ways of Working – transformative practices aligned to multigenerational workers’ expectations of flexibility and autonomy
- Agile Ways of Working – allowing employees to work where and how they choose to effectively deliver on a task
- Our Ways of Working – taking ownership of the change to ways of working for an organisation to improve outcomes
Perhaps the biggest change for organisations considering a change to the way they work is the focus on the culture and the people impacted. Mindset and a sense of purpose matters. Now more than ever, employees are having a say in how they want to work, and their input and knowledge of the detail of work needs to be considered.
Regardless of the branding, today’s ways of working approach require some key elements. Namely
- Start with Why. Be clear about the inspiration for new ways of working and why you are instigating a change. What is the purpose of the change?
- Communicate. Often. Using various channels. Collaborate and co-create the change with your people. Engage in conversations about the why, the how and the what.
- Feedback loops. While it may seem obvious, it is important to be flexible and nimble as you navigate new ways of working. Create options for testing the pulse and be prepared to correct course. Be clear about your intent but provide autonomy for the means of achieving change.
